This large-scale window graphic was designed for Centerpointe Dining at Cal Poly Pomona to create an attention-grabbing landmark that strengthens the dining environment and promotes the university’s farm-to-table dining program. The concept draws from Cal Poly Pomona’s renowned agriculture program and orange groves, using fresh fruit and salad imagery to communicate the quality and freshness of produce featured throughout the dining experience.

The composition was designed to complement the hillside visible through the building’s tinted windows, creating a visual connection between the graphic and its surrounding environment. Working at an architectural scale required careful consideration of proportion, measurements, and viewing conditions. Large, simplified forms were prioritized over smaller details, while texture was minimized to prevent reflections from competing with the imagery. The design was also developed with consideration for the dining hall’s modern architecture, ensuring the graphic could complement rather than compete with its surroundings.
